None injured in Jackson Twp. house fire
JACKSON TWP — A house fire on Lutz Road was quickly put out Thursday afternoon after more than 10 trucks were called to the two-story home. No residents were at home.
The fire, which started in a bedroom on the back of the second floor, quickly ended because the doors and windows were closed, firefighters said.
One unit in the multifamily house was damaged by fire, and the entire house suffered smoke damage, according to firefighters at the scene. The structure did not appear to be damaged, they said.
No cause was determined. The fire marshal is investigating.
