11:25 a.m. Thursday — Omahr E. Isaac, 33, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife, 33-year-old Michelle Isaac, during a domestic dispute at the couple's home on Cleveland Avenue. Isaac was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.

Wednesday — An unidentified vehicle struck a concrete wall in an alley behind a home on Barmore Avenue. The unknown driver did not stop after the crash that occurred between 4:30 and 10 p.m.

1:04 a.m. today — John Wallace, 46, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Sunset and Covewood drives in Center Township.4 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Ronald A. Wike Jr., 29, of Petrolia struck a cement culvert and traveled into a wooded area along Weiland Road in Concord Township.12:30 p.m. Wednesday — A black purse with a picture of Disney's Tinkerbell on it was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Thompson's Market in West Sunbury.Wednesday — Police filed a theft charge against Lacey A. McGreevy, 21, of Petrolia, who is accused of taking a piece of jewelry from a Fairview Township home. Sept. 18. The item later that day was pawned at a Center Township business.McGreevy was arraigned Wednesday and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,000 bail.

10:04 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Kaylene Jo Giles, 18, of Rimersburg and a van driven by Joni Morris, 48, of Clarion collided on Route 68 in Clarion Township. Giles, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
