7:41 p.m. Saturday - Denise Priester, 38, of 401 N. Washington St., Apt. 5, was arrested for allegedly stealing a license plate from a car and shoplifting.Priester is accused of taking the plate off a car, owned by Miller's Meats of Butler, parked in a lot at Jackson and Locust streets. She is also accused of taking a package of pepperoni at Friedman's market on Brady Street. She is charged with theft by unlawful taking and retail theft.Saturday - Frank Iannuzzi Butler said someone overnight took his black mountain bike parked on Cliff Street. The Schwinn Frontier bicycle is valued at $500.

2:10 a.m. Sunday - Timothy Ankeny, 31, of Mars was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on North Boundary Road in Cranberry Township.Sunday - A 10-foot vinyl sign was reported taken from the Oakland Township-Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department on Route 38 in Oakland Township.12:30 p.m. Saturday - Police are seeking the driver of a red Pontiac Grand Am that drove away after colliding with a Subaru Forester at Route 422 and Dick Road in Franklin Township. The unknown driver of the car is a white man. Lisa Hughes, no age given, of Avalon, Allegheny County, was driving the Forester.Saturday - A 12-foot cherry wood log was taken Friday or Saturday from the Thorn Run Road home of Patricia Campbell in Oakland Township.4:45 p.m. Saturday - Darrell Lee, 32, of New Castle was arrested after allegedly assaulting Pamela Thompson, 32, of Slippery Rock at a Corry Road home in Worth Township. Thompson suffered minor injuries in the altercation. Lee is charged with simple assault and harassment.10:18 p.m. Friday - Steven Passaro, 35, of 2150 Highland Drive was arrested and charged with simple assault and reckless endangerment after he allegedly fired a pistol into the air.Police said that Passaro, during an argument with his wife, Kelly, 35, at their home, grabbed the pistol and fired it. He was arraigned on charges and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.9:17 p.m. Friday - Ronald Keith Grossman, 34, of Slippery Rock was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after he was found sitting in his car in the parking lot of Geiser's Truck Stop in Clearfield Township.4:32 p.m. Friday - A car driven by Nicholas Kosanovich Jr., no age given, of Renfrew and a sport utility vehicle driven by Jennifer Hilliard, no age given, of West Sunbury collided at Route 68 and Brownsdale Road in Forward Township.4 p.m. Friday - Someone stole $60 in change out of the Pepsi vending machine at 101 S. Main St. in Harrisville.8:56 a.m. Friday - Vehicles driven by Dennis Durnell, 54, of Slippery Rock and Rosemary Buchanan, 76, of Grove City collided on Shields Road in Mercer Township.Both drivers, who were wearing seatbelts, were taken to United Community Hospital in Grove City. Buchanan, who suffered serious injuries, was later flown by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. Durnell remained with moderate injuries at the Grove City hospital. Their conditions this morning were not available.7:30 a.m. Friday - Keri Dolan, no age given, of Butler told police someone broke into her vehicle parked on Milheim Drive in Center Township and stole video games, videos and several compact discs.11:37 p.m. Thursday - Connie Williams, 41, of Karns City was arrested and charged with simple assault following a domestic dispute in which she allegedly grabbed Karl Williams, 45, and scratched his neck during an argument at their house.Connie Williams was arraigned on charges and is free on $5,000 bail.11:20 p.m. Thursday - William Leroy Smith, 58, of North Washington was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after he lost control of his vehicle on Route 308 in Concord Township and struck a rock.1:30 a.m. Thursday - Richard Kevin Jackson, 48, of Parker was arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted Caroline Johnson, 31, during a domestic dispute at her Parker home in Allegheny Township.Jackson is in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $3,000 bond.6:26 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by John Tomlin Jr., no age given, struck the rear of a dump truck driven by Shawn Berry, no age given, both of Butler, on Route 356 in Summit Township. Tomlin, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries.Tomlin was cited for accidents involving injury while not licensed, driving with a suspended license, careless driving and driving too fast for conditions.Wednesday - A white, 19-foot box trailer, with "Boss Hoss Cycles" on its side, was reported taken from a parking lot near Great Belt Road in Jefferson Township. Chris Gatto of Sarver owns the trailer.

8:45 a.m. Friday - No injuries were reported in a six-vehicle, chain-reaction crash on Route 28 in East Deer Township, Allegheny County.The crash occurred after a hood became unlatched on a car driven by Deborah Pierce, no age given, of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County. Pierce applied her brakes suddenly, causing the unknown driver of a car traveling behind Pierce's vehicle to swerve. The unknown driver drove off.Meanwhile, a vehicle driven by Jonathan Hallwirth, no age given, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, that was behind the other vehicles, slowed and was struck from behind by a sport utility vehicle driven by Darrell Bowers, no age given, of Grove City.A vehicle driven by Janet Pernazza, no age given, of Sarver, behind the others, came to a sudden stop and was struck from behind by a pickup truck driven by Michael Brown, no age given, of Natrona Heights.Police cited Bowers, Pernazza and Brown for driving too closely to vehicles.

4:40 p.m. Friday - Kenneth Dever, 32, of Grove City was charged with driving under the influence following a collision with a vehicle driven by Jason Parker at Routes 208 and 19 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.
