These items have been collected from various police departments.

2:28 a.m. Sunday - Antonio Codero, 41, of 428 W. Penn St. was arrested for driving under the influence after he backed his car into a sport utility vehicle parked at the Custom Catering parking lot on South Chestnut Street and drove off after the crash.

Codero was stopped later and arrested. In addition to DUI, he was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle. George Schroth of North Ninth Avenue owns the SUV.

Sunday - Someone overnight vandalized the Young Funeral Home on West Jefferson Street. A granite bench and ash trays at the business were overturned. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

Sunday - Police reported that Cory Malis, 44, of 317 W. Fulton St. was arrested for falsely claiming his car was stolen April 9 from the Friedman's parking lot on West Brady Street.

Police determined the car was taken from Malis' home on April 3. Malis is charged with false reports to law enforcement authorities.

10:15 p.m. Friday - A vehicle described as a light blue, early 1990s Honda Civic struck a car driven by Chad Williams, 18, of Karns City at Hansen Avenue and Pillow Street and the driver of the first car did not stop following the crash.

April 9 - Richard Johnson reported someone slashed the left side tires of his 1996 Honda Accord, which was parked at his Ridgeway Avenue residence.

3 a.m. April 9 - Charles Gibbs II, 33, of Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence on Mill Street.

8:21 p.m. April 9 - A 6-year-old child was taken to United Community Hospital after he ran in front of a vehicle on Edgewood Avenue and was struck. The vehicle was driven by Bruce Williams, 52, of Grove City.

The child was released Sunday from Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh after being evaluated for head injuries. No charges were filed.

Monday - Police reported that a suspect, whom authorities did not identify, between May 16 and June 9, passed 11 bad checks totaling $3,060 to United Plate Glass Co. on Grundman Drive in Connoquenessing Township.

Saturday - Philip Schnebel, 41, of Fairview Township was arrested for felony assault following a domestic dispute with a 39-year-old woman at the couple's Fairmont Road home.

Schnebel is accused of assaulting Elizabeth Schnebel, who was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with two fractured ribs and facial injuries, and later released. The defendant is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.

11:30 p.m. Friday - A Cabot man reported he was robbed at gunpoint while walking on Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township.

Ryan Craig, 21, said he was walking south on the road when a white or light silver car stopped and offered to assist him. A passenger in the car got out of the vehicle brandishing a handgun and ordered Craig to the ground. The unknown suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from Craig and returned to the car, which drove south on Saxonburg Boulevard.

10 p.m. Friday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Dale Hutchison Jr., no age given, of Chicora veered off Fallecker Road in Oakland Township and struck a ditch. Hutchison, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for moderate injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.

7:40 p.m. Friday - Tamara Langston, 32, of Saxonburg was arrested for driving under the influence after her vehicle struck a fence and got stuck in a ditch along Reimer Road in Jefferson Township.

6:50 p.m. Friday - Richard Jamison Jr., 20, of Butler swerved his car to avoid a piece of lumber that had fallen from a dump truck at Route 8 and Kelly Road in Clay Township and skidded into the opposite lane.

Leslie Shively, 75, of Butler, in turn, had to swerve her car off the road to avoid Jamison's vehicle, and traveled into a ditch.

1:15 p.m. Friday - Three youths - two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old - escaped from Summit Academy on Herman Road in Summit Township but were later caught near Herman and Vogleyville roads.

9:21 p.m. Wednesday - Someone threw a beer bottle that struck a lighted sign owned by the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department on Route 268 in Fairview Township. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

5:22 p.m. Wednesday - Sean Pell, no age given, of Butler was arrested for allegedly taking $200 from the purse of an employee at the JC Penney's optical department in the Clearview Mall, Center Township. Pell is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.

3:17 a.m. Sunday - Merrie Kay Barnes, 43, of East Brady, Clarion County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 268 in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.

1:45 a.m. Saturday - An unknown suspect, possibly a Butler County man in his 20s, punched a 24-year-old Worthington man in the face on Yellowdog Road in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County. Brian Johns suffered a fractured jaw in the assault. No other information was available this morning.

9:25 p.m. Saturday - A car driven by Patricia Abraham, no age given, of New Castle struck a fence and rolled over on Mercer-New Wilmington Road in Springfield Township, Mercer County. Abraham, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
