Edward Dyer Jr.
Edward Paul Dyer Jr., 81, of Valencia passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 2, 1933, in Crafton, the son of the late Edward Paul Dyer Sr. and Jennie (Miklaucic) Dyer.
Paul was a member of the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, Jefferson Grange and Moraine Blazing Stars Camping Club. He enjoyed camping, photography and square dancing. He had worked for Kellogg American in Oakmont.
Surviving are two daughters, Sherry (Ken) Kaib of Valencia and Carol (Scott) Jamison of Evans City; five grandchildren, Jennifer Perry of Brookville, Alison (Fred) Pfeifer of Butler, Kim (Bill) Minto of Butler and Amanda and Ben Jamison of Evans City; seven great-grandchildren, Conner and Quinton Perry, Abbygail and Wyatt Pfeifer and Billy, Blake and Camden Minto; and two sisters, Alberta Hoos of Florida and Dolores Bingham of Saxonburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Dyer, who died Oct. 9, 2012; and two brothers, Edward Miklaucic and William Dyer.
DYER — Friends of Edward Paul Dyer Jr., who died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Glade Run Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, with his pastor, the Rev.
