Patrick E. Neff

Patrick E. Neff, 80, of Chicora passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, in the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.

He was born on April 12, 1941, in Oakland Township, and was the son of the late Herman W. Neff and the late Mary Agnes Angert Neff.

He was a member of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Chicora.

He worked for Butler County Ford in Butler for 27 years, from 1976 to 2003, and then retired.

Pat is survived by his wife, Jean M. Barnhart Neff, whom he married Oct. 22, 1977.

He is also survived by a brother, Ben Neff; a sister, Catherine “Kate” and Philip Graham; several sisters-in-law, Betty Knoll Neff, Jeanne Neff and Bridget Neff; a brother-in-law, Lee and Ginny Barnhart; four sisters-in-law, Sandy and Jerry Wagner, Rose Ann Miller, Patty and George Pikoulas, and Shirley and Dick Rattigan; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and their wives, Jim, Joe, Wendell and Marian Neff, Andy and Tom Neff, Jerry and Donna Neff, and Raymond and Herman Neff.

NEFF — Friends of Patrick E. Neff, who died Thursday, July 1, 2021, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, North Oakland, with the Rev. Lou Pascazi officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
