Butler County and many other counties in western Pennsylvania are under a winter weather advisory.The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued the advisory that took effect at 6 p.m. Monday and to last until 10 a.m. today.The advisory warned of potentially slippery and hazardous road conditions due to mixed precipitation, which could lead to up to one inch of snow accumulation and one-tenth an inch of ice, as well as possible snow.
