Gary Zanicky

Gary L. Zanicky, 59, of Highfield passed away Friday at his home.

Gary was born Oct. 21, 1959, and was the son of the late Martin and Gladys Weitzel Zanicky.

Before his retirement, he was employed at Pullman Standard, ARC of Butler County, and Butler Township.

His greatest loves were his children, Erica and Martin.

He was always there to lend a hand or an ear when they needed him. He was proud of accomplishing 27 years of sobriety.

Gary will have a joyful reunion with his dogs, Yogi, Stash and Sadie.

Along with his children, his big sister, Lynda (Stan) Zielinski, lovingly survives him.

He is also survived by his brothers, the Rev. Dr. Robert Zanicky (Shawn), and Dave Zanicky; and his nephews, Larry Wallace, Robert Zanicky, and David Zanicky Jr.

His nieces, Tracy Kline, Michele Zanicky-Smeltzer, Heather Boyd and Victoria Zanicky, will fondly remember him.

ZANICKY — Funeral service for Gary L. Zanicky, who died Friday, May 10, 2019, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Unionville Presbyterian Church, 1114 Sunset Dr., Butler. The Rev. Dr. Robert Zanicky will officiate.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Young Funeral Home, Butler.
