Margaret Zapp

Margaret Zapp, 91, of Renfrew passed away Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Oct. 24, 1926, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Veronica Wahoski Prementine.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora.

She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and bingo, and she was a member of a bowling league.

Surviving are her children, Janet Neely of Butler, Sharon (Byron) McDonald of Tennessee, Carol (Edgar) Butler of Butler and Richard Zapp and Mary Zapp, both of Renfrew; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Rose Savage of Highfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Zapp Sr.; her son, John Zapp Jr.; her grandson, Edward Butler; and two brothers; and two sisters.

ZAPP — There will be no visitation for Margaret Zapp, who died Saturday, June 23, 2018.A memorial gathering with be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Highfield Community Center, 229 Highfield Road, Butler.Arrangements are being completed by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
