The Center for Community Resources on South Main Street in Butler will distribute toilet paper from 3 to 4 p.m. today.

The distribution will be free and on a first-come, first-served basis, but additional toilet paper will be given out after the hour-long event if more is available.

Hayley Merchant, director of programs at CCR, said the amount to be distributed will depend on household size.

She said CCR bought 350 rolls in bulk for the public distribution.

Merchant hopes city residents without transportation who are unable to drive to a store outside of the downtown area are the largest recipients of the distribution.

“We are essential and we are here,” Merchant said of CCR services. “We're not going anywhere.”
