Missing man's body found in Allegheny River
The body of 20-year-old man missing since late April was found Saturday in the Allegheny River, according to the Armstrong County coroner.
No foul play is suspected in the death of Colt Evan Snyder of Dayton, Armstrong County, according to Brian Myers, Armstrong County corner. An autopsy was scheduled Sunday.
Snyder was last seen leaving his family home about 4:30 p.m. April 3. Nearly seven hours later, his car was found running on the Interstate 80 bridge, just outside of Butler County in Richland Township, Clarion County. His body was found in the Allegheny River in Washington Township, Armstrong County.
Firefighters and state police had been searching the riverbanks and the river.
The incident is still under the investigation by the state police in Kittanning and the Armstrong County Coroner's Office.
