Brian K. Sarver
Brian K. Sarver, 35, of Freedom, passed away on Wednesday.
Born July 24, 1981, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Leroy K. Sarver and Cheryl A. Bauder Schoeffel.
Brian was a member of the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church, where he served on the Congregational Events Committee, volunteered as an usher and belonged to the men's group. He even took a mission trip to Tennessee with the church.
He was a selfless young man who helped serve meals at Light of Life, aided the homeless in Pittsburgh and walked dogs for Animal Friends.
In his free time, Brian enjoyed bowling, quad riding, fishing, hunting, trap shooting and playing on the church softball team. He also loved playing with his nephews and his dog, Buster. He will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Leroy (Patricia) Sarver of New Sewickley Township and Cheryl A. (Richard) Schoeffel of Evans City; his grandmothers, Dolores Benner Sarver, Doris Bauder and Virginia “Ginny” Schoeffel; his sister, Michelle (Michael) Creedon; his nephews, Braden and Landon; and four stepbrothers.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandfathers, LeRoy Sarver, William Bauder and Terry Schoeffel.
SARVER — Friends of Brian K. Sarver, who died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church, 123 N. Pittsburgh St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Dan Owen officiating.Brian will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens.Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church or to Camp Spencer, 126 Nagel Road, Fombell, PA 16123.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
