Rose and Frank Spithaler

Frank and Rose Spithaler of Evans City will mark 60 years of marriage.

Spithaler married the former Rose Beining on July 25, 1959, at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Wexford.

They have five children: Joan Liebergen of Madison, Tenn.; Frank Spithaler of Evans City; Charlene Smelcer of Mars; Tom Spithaler of Tenino, Wash.; and Steve Spithaler of Evans City.

They also have nine grandchildren.

Spithaler retired as a machinist from Herman Corp. and is employed in the A.J. Myers Bus Line garage.

He is a member of the Brothers of the Third Wheel.

Mrs. Spithaler retired after 37.5 years as a school bus driver.

The Spithalers enjoy racing school buses.

The Spithalers are members of the United Church of God.
