Wanda “Wendy” M. Shalbot

Wanda “Wendy” M. Shalbot, 71, of Renfrew passed away Monday at her residence.

She was born Aug. 21, 1947, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Harry L. Snyder Sr. and Lila (Dickey) Snyder.

Wendy had retired from the Veterans Affairs. After retirement, she worked as a bus driver for ABC Transportation.

She served with the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Co. for 21 years, the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department for 19 years and the Butler County Fire Police Association.

Wendy enjoyed crafts, her pets, casinos, the outdoors and especially her friends and family.

Surviving are her son, Wayne (Jamie Rottman) Shalbot of Renfrew; a brother, Harry L. (Marie Greenwalt) Snyder, Jr. of Tarentum; three grandchildren, Jacob Shalbot, Kelsey Foertsch and Cole Foertsch; a niece, Leah; and a nephew, Brian.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Shalbot, who passed away Feb. 5, 1994.

SHALBOT — A memorial to celebrate the life of Wanda “Wendy” M.
