Jackson

Robert W. Jackson Jr., 75, of Valencia, formerly of Mars, passed away on Sunday evening, Jan. 23, 2022, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Dec. 12, 1946, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Charlotte Wilson Jackson Sr.

Bob was a self-employed painter and wallpaper hanger.

He served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife, Ann Albright Jackson, whom he married on Nov. 28, 1992; two sons, Robert W. Jackson III of Saxonburg, and David Jackson of North Carolina; a daughter, Aimee Accolla (Francesco) of Scotland; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Merton.

JACKSON — Friends of Robert W. Jackson Jr., who died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
