Covert

Ellen M. Covert, 87, of Sunnyview Home, formerly of Whippo Avenue, died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 11, 1920, in Butler, she was the daughter of Albert and Fannie McCurdy.

Mrs. Covert was a dietician for Butler County Head Start in Bon Aire, for Sunnyview Home and for the Butler Country Club.

During the war, she was employed at Pullman Standard.

Mrs. Covert is survived by two daughters, Mrs. (Ronald) Barbara Fundark of Butler and Mrs. Carolyn Neyman of Butler; nine grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Covert was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel A. Covert Sr. on Feb. 13, 1978; several brothers and sisters, and three sons, Daniel A. Covert Jr., Richard Allen Covert and Roger Dale Covert.

<B>COVERT</B> — There will be no public visitation for Ellen M. Covert, who died Thursday, May 15, 2008. A graveside committal service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Jefferson Cemetery, Clover Township, Jefferson County, with the Rev.
