Route 68 closed after power lines go down
Power lines down on Route 68, just west of Evans City, forced emergency workers to close the road shortly after 11 a.m. to await a repair crew from the power company.
Volunteer firefighters also reportedly had to contend with a brush fire started by a transformer at the site.
Traffic was being routed onto Route 528.
