Paul R. Secunda

Paul R. Secunda, 88, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Butler passed away Jan. 18 at the Southwestern Veterans Center if Pittsburgh.

Born Sept. 5, 1930, in Butler, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Guzak Secunda.

Paul was employed for 20 years by the U.S. Post Office as a mail handler.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a drill instructor and also did air traffic control. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora and also a member of the VFW.

Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

SECUNDA — There will be no visitation for Paul R. Secunda, who died Friday, Jan. 18, 2019.Funeral services will held at 10 a.m. Monday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, with the Rev.
