Fire spreads at former Ibis Tek

Multiple fire departments were called to the former Ibis Tek building on Route 8 in Middlesex Township this morning after a roof fire began to spread across the building.

Firefighters arriving on the scene at about 9:30 a.m. reported heavy smoke and spreading flames at the facility, which is at 912 Pittsburgh Road.

Aerial trucks from two fire departments were dispatched to the scene to attack the fire at the building.

The company outfits and armors police and other emergency vehicles.

As of 10 a.m., 911 dispatch communication by firefighters revealed that the fire continued to spread on the exterior and in the interior of the building.
