Margaret Lillian Kneiss Greenway
Margaret Lillian Kneiss Greenway, 79, of Slippery Rock, Worth Township, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Pamela, in Front Royal, Va.
Margaret was born May 26, 1936, in Prospect to Stanley Kneiss and Jewel Taylor Schick Kneiss. She married Donald Bernard Greenway.
Margaret liked to cook, and everyone loved her baked goods. She liked to quilt, work on crossword puzzles and enjoyed spending time with and traveling to visit her kids and grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Donald, at home; three daughters, Pamela Nicholson of Front Royal, Va., Laurie (Ronald) Roberts of Jefferson, Md., and Amy Wendorf of Slippery Rock; two sons, Donald Bradley Greenway of Hagerstown, Md., and Daniel Greenway of Slippery Rock; six sisters, Yvonne Bowser of East Brady, Sarah Foust of Saxonburg, Patricia Angerett of Butler, Barb Link of Somerset, Pa., France Robinson of Butler and Kathy Kneiss of Butler; three brothers, Edward Eckert of Oklahoma and John and Dave Eckert, both of Butler; eight grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, David, Joseph, Kasey, Justin, Lisa and Jacob; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Annabell Gill.
GREENWAY — Family of Margaret Lillian Kneiss Greenway, who died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at West Liberty United Methodist Church, 135 Church Road, Slippery Rock. The Rev. Nelson Thayer, pastor of West Liberty United Methodist Church, will officiate.
