3:10 p.m. Saturday — Two Butler men allegedly targeted a girl, stealing her purse, in a suspected strong-arm robbery on East Wayne Street.Shaquille Brown, 20, the suspected getaway driver, turned himself in to police following the alleged crime. The other suspect, Raheem Robinson, 23, is still being sought.The 17-year-old victim told investigators that she was walking on East Wayne Street and had just crossed South McKean Street when Robinson approached her from behind. He accused her of stealing money from him and grabbed her cell phone and threw it.The girl, who police did not immediately identify, claimed Robinson then snatched her purse and ran to an awaiting car driven by Brown. Robinson got into the passenger seat and the car sped away.Later in the evening, Brown turned himself in. Police have an arrest warrant for Robinson. Both suspects are charged with robbery, conspiracy and theft.

Sunday — Nothing was reported taken from a vacant home in a burglary on West Liberty Street in Slippery Rock. The unknown burglar got inside by breaking a window on the rear basement door.Family members told police that the house, part of an estate, did not contain anything of value and its contents are being thrown away. The break-in happened between 7 p.m. Thursday and noon Sunday.6 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Harry R. Hessom, 53, of Freeport struck a deer on Route 356 at Hannahstown Road in Jefferson Township.Friday — A thief stole scrap metal items from a man's home in the 100 block of Main Street in Franklin Township. The property, which was in an open lot, was taken between Nov. 10 and Friday.8:28 p.m. Oct. 25 — Roy Jones, 73, of Cabot was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Jones and Bonniebrook roads in Jefferson Township.

11:55 p.m. Sunday — Bobbie R. Myers, 27, of Emlenton was hurt when her car skidded on the snow and hit a utility pole along Kerr Road in Emlenton. Myers, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.

4:49 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Tina Shreckengost, 37, of New Bethlehem rear-ended another vehicle driven by Larry Jeffers, 64, of Templeton on Route 28/66 in Mahoning Township. The collision forced Jeffers' vehicle into the back of a third vehicle driven by Bruce Bandura, 48, of East Butler.Shreckengost was cited for undisclosed traffic violations.6:34 p.m. Friday — Richard Bisch, 49, of Ford City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he crashed his car onto its roof on Route 28/66 in Mahoning Township.

5:57 p.m. Sunday — Brandon J. Grace, 17, of Grove City was hurt when he lost control of his car, struck a ditch and crashed into an embankment on Route 173 at Olson Road in Sandy Lake Township. The car rolled over and landed on its roof.Grace, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. He was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.Sunday — A Philadelphia teenager is wanted on charges he escaped from the George Junior Republic juvenile detention facility in Pine Township, Mercer County.The suspect, Christopher Kitcherman, was on authorized release to visit his parents but he did not return that evening. He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 170 pounds. He has a tattoo of the words “William Penn” on his right arm and another tattoo of the Honda symbol.7:32 p.m. Saturday — Kyle A. Nulph, 26, of Franklin, Venango County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he crashed and rolled his pickup truck at Route 208 Leesburg Grove Station Road in Springfield Township.Nulph, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown out of the truck. He was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with unspecified injuries.Friday — A 23-year-old man, who police did not identify, is suspected of stealing metal items from a woman's home on Griffin Road in Sandy Lake Township. The man later sold the stolen property for money. Police said the theft, which happened between Nov. 8 and Friday, is still under investigation.Nov. 8 — A thief stole a woman's Samsung Galaxy cell phone that was left at the front desk of the Microtel Road on Leesburg Grove City Road in Springfield Township. The phone was taken between 8:45 and 10:03 a.m.

9:30 p.m. Thursday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Alexander R. Rowland, 26, of Pittsburgh struck a deer on Route 422 just west of Old Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township. Lawrence County.
