SLIPPERY ROCK TWP — State police are investigating a string of burglaries at an apartment complex near Slippery Rock University.

Police said sometime between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, four separate four-person suites at The Heights at SRU on Stillwater Lane were broken into through unlocked windows, and various items — mainly electronics and shoes — were stolen.

State police in Butler say they currently have no suspects in the crimes.
