Butler Catholic’s junior varsity boys cross country team grabbed a 24-31 victory over St. Gregory last week at Zelienople Community Park.
The Saints earned the top two places, led by C.J. Singleton’s first-place time of 12 minutes, 56 seconds.
Sean LeMay took third place for St. Gregory.
In the girls’ meet, Butler prevailed 18-46, with Caitlin Peratt winning the race in 15:12. St. Gregory’s Ella Butterfield placed fourth.
The varsity competition, which featured no team scoring, saw St. Gregory’s Andrew Zilavy and Butler Catholic’s Caraval Losch win the boys and girls race, respectively.
