MUDDY CREEK TWP - The second annual North County Bluegrass Jam is planned for May 29 at the amphitheater in Moraine State Park, on North Shore Drive, across from the North Shore Beach.
The concert will benefit the North County Music Association and the Moraine/McConnells Mill/Jennings (M3J) Conservancy.
The concert will kick off at noon with a dedication to veterans. The music will begin at noon and will continue until 7 p.m.
Performing will be Uncle Dave's Band, Heart 2 Heart, and Francine and the Mountain Top Band, among others.
The concert is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit the M3J Conservancy and to help the North County Music Association maintain this and upcoming events that showcase Western Pennsylvania bands and musicians.

BUTLER TWP - Comedian Dave Reilly will perform at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Butler County Community College Succop Theater.He is sponsored by Leadership Butler County and proceeds will go to THE HOPE ProjectCost is $25 per person, and includes hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks.Reilly has been doing comedy for more than 15 years, including several years of operating two comedy clubs in New England. The Island Playground will again be the site of the Bicycle Rodeo for those ages 5 to 15 beginning at 10 a.m. June 18. The ceremony starts at noon.Activities will include a bicycle safety course, farm animals, police cars, city fire trucks and the American Red Cross.Admission is free. The Butler Senior High School music department will present a free choir and orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the senior high auditorium.Groups to perform are the Senior High Concert Choir, Girls' Ensemble, Chanticleer Singers and the orchestra.Featured will be the Potpourri Ringers, a hand bell ensemble from the Butler community. EAST BRADY - Area strongmen, performing feats of body and strength, will hold an exhibition at 7 p.m. May 21 at the East Brady Community Center Gym, 502 Ferry St., East Brady.People of all ages are invited to this free event, where ordinary men will bend steel between their arms, rip phone books in half with their bare hands and break through chains with their own strength.The exhibition is jointly sponsored by Karns City High School's BIC club and East Brady Youth, a ministry of East Brady Regular Baptist Church, 508 Kellys Way, East Brady. NEW BETHLEHEM - Clarion County Fair organizers will host the annual weeklong fair featuring shows, exhibits, games, rides, and food from July 24 to 30 at Redbank Valley Municipal Park.The fair will include daily performances of Mark Preston's "Comedy Safari Show" featuring macaws, magic and mirth.Nationwide demolition derbies are planned for July 26 and 27.On July 30, the school bus demolition derby will return.July 24 is a free admission day.Regular admission is a pay-one-price $7 fee that includes parking, admission to shows and events and all carnival rides.For information, call the fair office at 814-365-5179.
