Robotics 101 coming to townshipCRANBERRY TWP — The township will offer two programs starting this month where children will learn about robotics by using Legos.Robotics 101, for ages 9 to 13, will be offered from 6 to 7 p.m. on six Thursdays starting Feb. 18 at the municipal center, 2525 Rochester Road.A Star Wars program for ages 5 to 12 will be offered from 2 to 3 p.m. on four Saturdays starting Feb. 27 at the municipal center.Both programs will be taught by instructors from Snapology Discovery Center of Cranberry.To register, call 724-779-4386 or go to www.Cranberry4FUN.com/Register.
Snow Creations deadline setThe Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will accept entries for its Snow Creations contest through March 18.Send entries to Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, Snow Creations, 184 Alameda Park Road, Butler, Pa., 16001.Entries should include a photograph of the snow creation; the creator’s name, address, phone number and e-mail; and the date.
