Sunday — At least four unlocked vehicles in the South Butler area were entered overnight.The vehicles were on Old Plank Road, Cendell Lane and East Metzger Avenue. Money and two Garmin global positioning system devices were among the items stolen.7:37 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Debra Rager, 45, of Saxonburg spun out on an ice patch, hit a curb and rolled over in the 200 block of Whitestown Road.6:22 p.m. Saturday — Brandon Geist, 26, of East Butler was arrested after he allegedly started a ruckus at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Police said Geist had gone there for treatment when he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend.When BMH staff and a security guard moved in to quell the attack, according to a police report, Geist hit and spit at the guard.Police arrested the suspect on charges of felony and misdemeanor assault, domestic assault and harassment. He was later arraigned and placed in the Butler County Prison.12:03 p.m. Saturday — Jack Peluso-Hoffman, 23, of Slippery Rock faces misdemeanor drug charges after police found him with suspected marijuana and prescription medication at Moraine Pointe Plaza.Peluso-Hoffman is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

2:43 p.m. Sunday — A 15-year-old was arrested on simple assault and harassment charges following a domestic dispute at a home in the 400 block of Summit Street. The suspect, who police did not identify, is accused of hitting the alleged victim in the chest and arm, causing minor injuries.6 p.m. Saturday — One person was hurt in a three-vehicle crash in the 200 block of West Main Street.The wreck happened, police said, when Vearl Stamp, 92, of Sandy Lake failed to stop for traffic waiting at a red light. Stamp's car struck the rear of a vehicle, which, in turn, was pushed into a third vehicle.The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended, who police did not identify, was taken to Grove City Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Police said Stamp faces a ticket for following too closely to another vehicle.Saturday — Someone tried to break into a home in the 600 block of Ivan Drive. The attempted burglary, which damaged a door, occurred between Thursday and Saturday.The same house was targeted in a would-be break-in on Jan. 21 or 22.Anyone with information about the attempted burglaries is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.

12:35 p.m. Monday — Victoria J. Palmer, 52, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her car struck an embankment on Hooker Road in Concord Township.6:20 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Memory C. Mabugu, 21, of Pittsburgh struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Police said Mabugu was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.6:16 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Sanjay Saini, 31, of Pittsburgh struck the back of a sport utility vehicle on Route 422 just east of Currie Road in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Saini was cited for driving at an unsafe speed. Craig Lucas was driving the SUV.5:59 p.m. Sunday — A SUV driven by William A. Rowe, 32, of Parker struck a utility pole along Route 38 in Allegheny Township. Police said Rowe was cited for a lane violation.Jan. 24 — A youth, who police did not identify, was arrested on several charges stemming from an alleged sexual assault of a female on Jan. 7 in Concord Township. The suspect is charged with rape, aggravated assault and burglary. Police released no other information about the case.2:25 a.m. Jan. 7 — Jennifer A. Bopp, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at North Elm and East Locust streets in Butler.2:25 a.m. Jan. 7 — Adam Evans, 25, of Cranberry Township was arrested for suspicion of DUI on East Locust Street in Butler.

6 p.m. Sunday — Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash on the snow-covered Route 173 exit ramp from Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township. Both drivers, Rhondy S. Crawford, no age given, of Mercer and Keith W. Broeman, no age given, of Grove City, suffered minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.5:40 p.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Morgan A. Nagy, 18, of Karns City rear-rended a tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 in Findley Township. The SUV spun into the center median. The unknown driver of the rig did not stop. Police said Nagy was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Monday — An unknown thief stole a red, Honda 400 EX all-terrain vehicle from outside a home on Village Road in Plain Grove Township. The ATV, which has blue handle bars, was taken between 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.<B></B>
