Barbara “Bonnie” Dziubek

Barbara “Bonnie” Dziubek

Barbara “Bonnie” Dziubek passed away on Saturday.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph John Bezilla and Martha Mary Gaertner Bezilla; wife of Lawrence; loving mother of Brian (Angela) Dziubek, Laura (Eric) Lindey, Kevin (Melissa) Dziubek; “Mimi” to Jack, Ava, Matthew Dziubek, and Hannah and Hattie Lindey; and older sister of Suzanne (John) Dirck of Columbus, Ohio.

Bonnie grew up and lived most of her life in the Observatory Hill neighborhood on Pittsburgh's North Side. She graduated from St. Benedict Academy, where she excelled in basketball. She was an active member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, contributing many hours to the Women's Guild and other church organizations.

Bonnie had a career with the Federal Reserve Bank and was a woman in constant motion; working, raising her family, cooking and baking for anyone and everyone. She was never shy of conversation, laughing with family and friends and she always talked about her beloved grandchildren.

Bonnie leaves behind many loving family members and friends that have supported our family during her journey with Parkinson's. She was a giving and caring woman that never stopped “doing.” God has called upon her to now rest. The last few years, he allowed relatives, lifetime friends and her Brandywine Community to take over Bonnie's “doing.”
