Janet E. Miller

Miller

Janet E. Miller, 78, of Kittanning, was welcomed to her heavenly home on Jan. 26, 2022, surrounded by her husband and daughters.

She was born Feb. 7, 1943, to Walter and Irene Wyant.

She married Dennis L. Miller on Dec. 10, 1960, and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage together. She delighted in taking care of him.

Janet’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She never missed a chance to support her kids and grandkids, dance with her husband, or read a book to her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed going out for breakfast, taking care of her many flowers, and going to the Hazen Flea Market.

She had the gift of encouragement, always sending cards and letters to those she cared about, or calling them to check in. She was treasured by countless family members and friends for her thoughtfulness and her loving heart.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Dennis; her daughters, Michelle Jageman of Ford City and Karen (Curt) Claypool of Worthington; her six beloved grandchildren, Jacob (Deanne), Eric (Patty) and Garret (Sara) Jageman, and Janelle (Micah) Grafton, Sarah (Jason) McCaslin and Emily (Jimmy) Leichliter; and her 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Greg Miller; and her parents, Walter and Irene Wyant.
