Frank D. "Mike" Moser

Frank D. “Mike” Moser, 83, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday at the Saxony Health Center.

Born on Oct. 17, 1931, in Penn Township, Westmoreland County, he was the son of the late Henry Carl Moser and Mary Sebeck Moser.

Frank served in the U.S. Army from Feb. 17, 1953, to Feb. 16, 1955.

He was the owner-operator of the Saxonburg Bakery from 1972 until 2002.

Surviving are his wife, Ellen Gaillot Moser, who he married on Jan. 17, 1959; his son, Brad Moser of Saxonburg; his daughter, Jody (Tom) Drechsler of Saxonburg; his sister, Elsie Taylor of Vandergrift; his grandchildren, Caiden and Cenleigh; and his great-granddaughter, Calleigha.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Chuck, Henry and John Moser.

Moser— The friends of Frank D. “Mike” Moser, who passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at theFox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Daniel Smail officiating.
