Raymond O. Herold

Raymond O. Herold, 52, of Kennerdell, formerly of Butler, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday at his residence.

Ray was born Feb. 22, 1965, in Butler. He was the son of the late Raymond V. Herold and Marjorie Ruth (McConnell) Herold, who survives.

He was self-employed at R.O.H. Construction.

Ray is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn (Mottern) Herold; his mother, Marjorie Herold of Sligo; one daughter, Salynn Marjorie Herold of Grove City; two sons, Raymond Norman Herold of Clintonville, and David Lee Herold of Kennerdell; and his 14 grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Michele R. Herold of New Castle, Ginger L. (Mick) Patrick of Butler, and Donna R. (Charlie) Pedley of Butler; two brothers, Dan V. (Rochella) Herold of Fairview, and Bud N. (Melanie) Herold of Sligo; and seven nieces and nephews.

HEROLD — The family of Raymond O. Herold, who died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with retired pastor, the Rev. Robert V. Mathias, officiating.
