Cranberry massage parlor raided by police for prostitution
CRANBERRY TWP - Township police are raiding a massage parlor, looking for evidence of prostitution and other crimes.
Cruisers lined up outside of the parlor on Dutilh Road behind the Burger King. Officers later emerged from the parlor carrying several rifles and loaded them into their police cruisers before going back into the building.
“We are detaining several people right now,” Cranberrry Township Police Sgt. Chuck Mascellino said.
Police are not yet sure how many will be charged, but they had been receiving complaints about the parlor, said Mascellino, and came to serve a search warrant.
“At this time anything that would being the furtherance of prostitution is what we were looking for,” he said. “We have questioned three people. I don't know what the results of the questioning will be.”
Police have yet to determine who owns the guns that were found and whether they were owned legally.
