Margie Lou Nichol, 90, of Butler, passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 20, 1931, in Butler County, and was the daughter of the late William D. Lintz and Roxie (Garver) Lintz.

Margie was a graduate of Butler High School in 1949, and also of Butler Hospital’s nursing program. She was a member of Butler Hospital alumni.

Surviving are her sons, Robert W. Nichol of Butler, and Douglas B. Nichol of Butler; a granddaughter, Julie Ann Nichol (daughter of Robert); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Nichol, who died April 21, 2014; her parents; and a brother, William Lintz.

NICHOL — Private service and burial for Margie Lou Nichol, who died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, will be held in Crown Hill Cemetery.
