Adell Marie Ball

Adell Marie Ball, 71, of Butler died at 11:55 a.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 16, 1934, in Gonzales, Texas, she was the daughter of Oliver Lee and Margaret Tyre Fitzhugh.

She was a member St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Lyndora.

Mrs. Ball was an avid bowler and bingo player and belonged to the Moraine Camplands' Association.

She had worked at a variety of places including Fishers Big Wheel and Austin's Chemical and Cleaning Supply.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Lori) Drobney of Harrisville; a stepson, Edward William Ball Jr. of Waco, Texas; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward William Ball, who died Sept. 9, 2000, and a brother.

BALL — Friends of Adell Marie Ball, who died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew Orthodox Church, 201 Penn Ave., Lyndora with the Rev. Joseph Wargo officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
