Robert A. “Bobby” Hancheck Jr., 46, of Penn Township died unexpectedly May 11 at his home.

Born Sept. 28, 1965, in Butler, he was a son of Robert A. and Nancy Hancheck.

He had worked for Berry Brothers Construction. He was well known for his stone work as he was one of the best stone masons in the Butler area.

He was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, the East Butler Fire Hall, the Butler Moose, the Italian Club, and the French and Belgium Club.

He loved his old country music and would do anything for anyone even if it were his last dollar. He loved his family very much, loved his beer especially with family and friends, was very well known as Bobby and will be in his families’ hearts and minds forever.

Surviving are his loving parents, Robert and Nancy Hancheck of Penn Township; his companion of 20 years, Kimberly Kopp; four daughters, Samantha, Bobbie Lynn, Amber and Katie B., all at home; one sister, Carol (Dan) Markle of Cabot; two brothers, Michael (Laurie) Hancheck and Paul (Pam) Hancheck, all of Penn Township; six nieces; one nephew; and numerous cousins.

HANCHECK — Friends of Robert A. “Bobby” Hancheck Jr., who died Friday, May 11, 2012, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Deacon Mitchell Natali will officiate.
