Dorothy May Day
Dorothy May Day, 92, of East Butler passed away Thursday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 28, 1925, in Butler, the daughter of the late Harry Stewart and Daisy Crispin Stewart.
Dorothy was a member of the East Butler Presbyterian Church and the East Butler Ladies Auxiliary. She had worked at Castle Rubber and cleaned offices at Magnetics and American Hardware. She loved to bake.
Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Ralph “Dick” Day of East Butler; three daughters, Jean Lumley of Butler, Patty (Ed) Nagy of East Butler and Nancy (Gary) Neff of Butler; seven grandchildren, Staci, Brian, Brandi, Shawn, Angie, Amy and Dustin; and eight great-grandchildren, Carolyn, Catherine, Nathan, Dalton, Stryder, Wyatt, Mason and Brooke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
DAY — Friends of Dorothy May Day, who died Thursday, July 6, 2017, will be received from 1 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at 3 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev.
