The theme for both events is "Power Lab."New Life's For God SEW Loved Quilts for Children mission has begun. Participants will make 250 quilts for the children who will reside in the orphanage at Tapestries of Life Ministries, Guadalupe, Mexico. Church members can sign up to make a quilt, donate fabric, thread, batting or gift cards to fabric stores. Volunteers are also needed to cut quilt squares, launder material or help with ironing. Quilting groups are also welcome.
