Neighbors clash over dog droppings
A person ought to be certain when throwing around accusations involving dog feces.
Grove City Police report that Sarah Bennett, 21, is charged with scattering rubbish and disorderly conduct after one such neighborly dispute.
Police arrived on the 400 block of East Main Street in Grove City shortly after 7 a.m., Dec. 19 to investigate a report of someone leaving a bag of dog feces on a porch. They found the bag, along with a note from Bennett saying she was sick of that neighbor leaving their dog's feces on her yard.
Police interviewed the neighbors. Turns out, they haven't owned a dog since theirs died three-and-a-half years prior.
Someone found guilty of scattering rubbish, according to state code, must pay $50 to $300.
