Sally Mae McDougall
Sally Mae McDougall, 78, of Harrisville, Pa., and formerly of Slippery Rock, passed away Wednesday at Grove City Medical Center in Grove City.
She was born April 5, 1940, in Slippery Rock Township, Butler County, to Walter Carlisle Fleeger and Sara Mae Chippi Fleeger.
She married Thomas Clair McDougall Sr. and he preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1991.
She worked as a caregiver for elderly patients.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She enjoyed country music, dancing and spending time with her family. She received great comfort from her faith and helping others.
Survivors include four daughters, Margie J. (Michael) Covert of Grove City, Lucinda D. McDougall and Lesa Rose McDougall of Slippery Rock, and Tamera Lynn (Kyle) Bryant of Conroe, Texas; two sons, Terry L. McDougall Sr. and Gary D. (Brandi) McDougall of Slippery Rock; her sister, Rose M. Smith of Streetsboro, Ohio; three brothers, Walter “Sonny” (Jeanette) Fleeger of West Sunbury, Donald (Ellen) Fleeger of Racine, Wis., and Paul Fleeger of Clintonville, Pa.; her granddaughters, Amber, Ashley, Kayla and Christine; her grandsons, Tommy III, D.J., Terry Jr., Josh, Travis, Lincoln, Bret and William; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Thomas Clair McDougall Jr.; two brothers, Ronald L. and James E. Fleeger; and her grandson, Mathew McDougall.
MCDOUGALL — Friends of Sally Mae McDougall, who died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle, St., Slippery Rock.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Millie Martsolf of Butler First Church of the Nazarene.Interment will be in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
