Elaine M. Uram

Uram

Elaine M. Uram, 65, of 16 Woodrow St., Lyndora, and 25 Charles St., Salem, Mass., on Friday was escorted by angels to her final destination to join departed family and friends who were awaiting her arrival to the Kingdom of God.

Elaine, along with her twin sister Eileen, was born in Butler on Dec. 14, 1944. Elaine was the daughter of Walter and Mabel Young Walsh.

She was a member of the Butler High School Class of 1962.

For 20 years she was the owner of Century 21 Advantage Realty in Lynn, Mass., retiring in 2008. She was an active member of the Lions Club to which she volunteered her time and talents.

She belonged to the choir of St. Anne's Church in Salem where she enjoyed not only the singing but also the wonderful fellowship she had with members of that group. They were a source of great strength and comfort for her during her illness.

She lived life to the fullest and never missed an opportunity to spend time with her family and friends either in Butler or in Salem. She especially liked celebrating Halloween in Witch Country. Although she loved gardening or trying to hit the jackpot at a casino, her greatest passion was finding the perfect pair of shoes.

Those whose lives were touched by her truly learned the meaning of love.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Dennis; three sons, Charles Mustake (Shirley Hilliard) a.k.a. Chuck's Gyro of Negley, Ohio, Edward Mustake (Kathy McNamara) of Masury, Ohio, and Randy Mustake (Gia Fiorello) of Salem, Mass.; one daughter, Wendy (Robert) Frantz of Kinsman, Ohio; six grandsons, Shiloh Frantz, Robert Frantz Jr., Nicholas Frantz, Brian Hilliard, Gabe Hilliard and Shawn Baker; five granddaughters, Michele Frantz, McKenzie Frantz, Heather Mustake, Julia Fiorello and Cassie Baker; three sisters, Jeanette (Willie) Edwards of Westminster, Md.; Carol (Donald) Osgood of Butler; Eileen (Thomas) Scott; one brother, Thomas (Rosemarie) Walsh of Granger, Ind.; two sister-in-laws; Janet Stetzer of Butler and Susan (John) Brock of Butler; two aunts, Verna Kriley and Ethel Young, both of Butler, 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
