Effie M. (Bailey) Lesseski

Effie M. (Bailey) Lesseski, 84, of Sunmine, Clinton Township, died Thursday.

Born July 8, 1928, in Sligo, she had lived in Sunmine more than 60 years.

She worked for Saxonburg Ceramics and then for the Moonlight Mushroom Mine for many years. A member of the Deer Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, Curtisville, she enjoyed cooking, Sunday family dinners and just spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons, Randy R. (Kimberly) Lesseski of Topeka, Kan., and Mark J. Lesseski at home; her daughter, Sylvia M. (Edward) Plutyk of Sunmine; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her sisters, Norma Novotny of Saxonburg, June (Jim) Foust of Butler, Martha (Andrew) Kristoff and Mary Durci of Sarver and Betty (Ron) Storoz of West Deer; and brother Ronald (Norma) Seybert of Sunmine also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Bailey; mother and stepfather, Leona (Downing) and Walter Seybert; her son, Timothy J. Lesseski; and her daughter, Debby Lesseski.

LESSESKI — The family of Effie M. (Bailey) Lesseski, who died Thursday, May 23, 2013, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard E. Wise officiating.

Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Sunmine, Clinton Township.
