Gertrude Catherine Fulton, 83, of North Apollo passed away Saturday at Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights.

Born June 27, 1928, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude (Eyth) Osche.

Gertrude lived in North Apollo for the past 57 years.

She was a member of the St. James Roman Catholic Church in Apollo and was a member of the Rosary Confraternity. Gertrude also was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Gertrude and her husband enjoyed round and square dancing and were members of the Log Cabin Squares. Gertrude enjoyed crafts, sewing and needlepoint, but she most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert A. Fulton; children, John A. (Carolann) Fulton of North Apollo, Debbie (Tim) Senko of Pittsburgh, Brenda (Carl) Marinaro of Butler and Randy (Valerie) Fulton of Bellefonte; grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Sarah, Katie, Kimmy, Nick, Jessica, Nolan and Maya; a brother, Bernard (Dorothy) Osche of Bernville, Berks County; sisters, Sally Coyle of Butler, Tish (Paul) Bachman of Inverness, Fla., Rosie (Jim) Zarnick of Butler and Ruth Raybuck of Butler; and many loving nieces and nephews.

<B>FULTON </B>— Friends of Gertrude Catherine Fulton, who died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory</B>, 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. James Roman Catholic Church, Apollo, with Father John T. Euker as celebrant.
