June Clara Gregg

June Clara Gregg, 94, of Butler, passed away on Aug. 4, 2021, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 26, 1927, in Wildwood, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Jay Denny and the late Gladys Dunham Denny.

June was a homemaker.

She was a former member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, and attended Hill United Presbyterian Church.

June was a member of various Masonic organizations, and was active in her children's activities. She volunteered at the Butler VA, was a member of Penn Glade Lions Club, and always helped at their rib dinners. June helped her husband at the Big Butler Fair, was a deacon at Calvary Presbyterian, and always attended Bible study at Hill United Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her children, Sherry E. Deal of Butler, Ronald C. Gregg and his wife, Deborah, of Butler, Patricia A. Rassau and her husband, Charles, of Wyoming, N.Y., Kenneth L. Gregg and his wife, Vivian, of Butler, David D. Gregg and his wife, Michelle, of Roanoke, Va., and Joyce E. Flowers of New Castle; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Gregg, whom she married on April 14, 1948, and who passed away on Feb. 8, 2012; an infant son, James Robert Gregg; a son, Jay William Gregg; two sisters; and one brother.

GREGG — Friends of June Clara Gregg, who died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, will be received from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Lyon of Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will take place in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children Pediatric Specialty Care, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
