Olenic, Hafer
Rachelle Olenic of Butler and Jason Hafer of Malvern were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 30 at First United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. David Panther officiated. A reception followed at The Mansion in Penn Township.
The bride is the daughter of William and Beverly Olenic of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Edward and Karen Hafer.
The matron of honor was Shannon English of Butler. Bridesmaids included Melissa Cornibe of Butler, Meredith Hafer of Easton, Conn., and Katherine Hafer of Malvern.
Performing the duties of best man was Brendan Magee of San Diego. Groomsmen included Joshua Wolkomir of Chicago, Chris Lobdell of Easton and Paul Oliver of Phoenixville. Ushers were Gregory Olenic of Clinton and Douglas Olenic of Hermosa Beach, Calif.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School, a 2001 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in English writing, and a 2007 graduate of West Chester University, where she earned a graduate degree. She works as an English teacher in the Spring-Ford Area School District in Royersford.
Bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Great Valley High School and in 2001 from the University of Pittsburgh, earning a bachelor of arts degree in English writing and religious studies. He is the co-owner of Wolfgang Books in Phoenixville.
Following a honeymoon trip to the Napa Valley in California, the couple is making their home in Phoenixville.
