Benson, Menko
Jen Benson of Troy, Mich., and Scott Menko of Fenton, Mich., were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Sept. 23 in an outdoor ceremony at the home of the groom's parents. The Rev. Steven Faulk officiated. Areception followed at the home of the groom's parents.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Debbie Benson of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Fred and Therese Menko of White Lake, Mich., and the late Ruth Menko.
The matron of honor was the bride's mother, Debbie Benson, of Chicora. Flower girls included Jenny Menko of White Lake; Becca Menko of Hartland, Mich.; and Abby Menko of Williamstown, Mich.
Performing the duties of best man was the groom's father, Fred Menko of White Lake.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Butler High School and a 1999 graduate of Penn State University. She works for PPG Industries in Troy, Mich.
The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Lakeland High School and in 2001 from Kettering University. He is employed by Numatics in Lapeer, Mich.
Following a honeymoon trip to Mackinac Island,Mich., the couple is making their home in Fenton.
