Rachel Elizabeth Nichol and Anthony William Silker, both of Chicago, were united in marriage June 7 at Succop Nature Park in Butler. The Rev. Timothy Silker officiated. A reception followed at Succop Nature Park.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Laura Nichol of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Tim and Julie Silker of Warren, Ohio.
The matron of honor was Aimee Reed of Butler. Bridesmaids included Amanda Silker of Warren, Sara Cumberland of Butler, Sarah Benich of Cortland, Ohio, and Elizabeth Green of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Peter Brichetto of Akron, Ohio.Ushers included Jeff Click of Hazleton, Michael Benich of Cortland, Caleb Cumberland of Butler and Jarrett Harmon of Chicago.
The ring bearers were Logan and Caden Reed of Butler.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of Butler High School. She received a degree in elementary education from Olivet Nazarene University in 2015.
She is a fourth-grade teacher in the Chicago Public Schools.
The bridegroom graduated from Howland High School in 2011. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2015.
He is the discipleship pastor at Family Empowerment Center in Chicago.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hocking Hills, Ohio, the couple is making their home in Chicago.
