SRU drops opener to Gannon
Amber McFeely's 15 points and seven assists were not enough as the Slippery Rock University women's basketball team to Gannon University 80-70 in its season opener Tuesday night.
The game was tied at 36 by halftime, but Gannon outscored The Rock 44-34 in the final 20 minutes.
Kristen Bonner added 12 points for SRU (0-1).
