Lane restriction in place on I-79 following early-morning tractor trailer accident
State Police are still at the scene of a tractor trailer accident from 2:30 a.m. Monday morning on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.
As of 7:25 a.m., state police confirmed they were still at the site, which is 1/2 mile north of Exit 87 in the northbound lanes, according to PA 511.
Christina Gibbs, a spokeswoman for PennDOT, said department employees were assisting a towing company on scene trying remove the crashed tractor trailer.
Gibbs said throughout the incident, traffic has been restricted to one lane.
According to other news outlets, there were no injuries reported.
