Betty Hollerman, 86, of Zelienople died at home Sunday surrounded by her family.

Born Aug. 25, 1922, in Jackson Township, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertha May (Lutz) Burr.

Mrs. Hollerman was a member of the English Lutheran Church, Zelienople, and a life-member of Zelienople American Legion Post 474 Ladies Auxiliary. Throughout her life, Mrs. Hollerman volunteered for many organizations in the area, including 30 years for the VA Butler Healthcare. She also served on the Committee for Sharing & Caring.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Arthur Hollerman; a daughter, Janice Hollerman Dehart and her husband, Mark, of Zelienople; a sister, Mary Ellen Ridenour of Evans City; and four grandchildren, David Galat Jr. of Ellwood City, Jennifer (Galat) Pfiefer and her husband, Robert, of Slippery Rock, Mark E. Dehart serving our country in Iraq and his wife, Maria, of Ellwood City and Arthur R. Dehart of Zelienople. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, with another great grandchild on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

<B>HOLLERMAN </B>— Friends of Betty Hollerman, who died Sunday, May 17, 2009, will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert A. Keplinger, her church pastor, officiating.
