11:35 a.m. Thursday — Diane Kemp of Butler reported the theft of her son's red electric guitar, worth $800, from Grace at Calvary Church on East Diamond Street, where the son had played at a concert the night before.11:07 p.m. March 1 — A car driven by Elizabeth Howell, 24, of Butler was backing up in the city parking lot at Main and Cunningham streets when it struck a handicapped parking sign. Howell was cited for driving with an expired license.8:45 p.m. Feb. 18 — A car driven by Alec Wagner, 17, of Emlenton and an SUV driven by Lisa Fend, 21, of Butler collided on Mercer Road in Center Township. Both drivers and Wagner's passenger, Derek Lenhart, 14, of Butler were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Wagner was cited for failing to yield to oncoming traffic from a stop sign.Feb. 26 — David Sefton, 54, of Butler reported the theft of about $50 from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked on Caldwell Drive in Jefferson Township from Feb. 25 to Feb. 26.

March 2 — David Farbacher, 39, of Saxonburg reported an unknown person making unauthorized withdrawals totaling $1,144 from his Capital One credit card at a Citibank in New York between Feb. 28 and March 2. Anyone with information about the identity theft should call state police at 724-284-8100.Wednesday — Jay Hildebrand reported the theft of the registration sticker from his vehicle's license plate outside his Chicora residence at 130 Rattigan Road between 10 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

12:28 p.m. Saturday — A member of the Zelienople Community Park Association Board discovered a dugout at the Pee Wee baseball field was vandalized. "SOA Soldiers of Anarchy" was written in red paint on the outside of the dugout, while the inside also had graffiti. Police said the same vandalism was also observed on the natural gas house at Front and Hazel streets.9:48 a.m. March 1 — Jennifer Schoeffel of Pine Street reported two of her tires were slashed on her vehicle at her residence sometime overnight.12:38 p.m. March 1 — Vehicles driven by Linda McCormick, 55, of 510 Main St., Harmony; Janna M. Lewis, 40, of Cranberry Township; Cathy Beighey, 53, of Zelienople; and Gail Richards, 42, of Cranberry Township were all involved in a chain collision accident at the traffic signal on East Beaver Street. No injuries and minor damage to the vehicles were reported.

5:50 a.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Hannah K. Oberfeitinger, 19, of State College was traveling on Fanker Road when she lost control of her vehicle on a curve and struck a tree. Police reported some ice on the road at the time of the accident. The driver had a minor knee injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment by private vehicle.11 a.m. March 3 — A vehicle driven by Michael G. Kenderes, 68, of Connoquenessing was attempting to make a turn off Route 19 onto Wise Road, when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Sondra L. Lintz, 64, of 516 Slippery Rock. Police cited Lintz with careless driving.12:21 p.m. March 1 — A vehicle driven by Nicole Marie Paugh, 17, of Callery was traveling near the 7800 block of Franklin Road when she apparently lost control, hit an embankment, rolled the vehicle over onto its roof and back on its wheels. The vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed. Paugh, who complained of dizziness, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital by Harmony EMS. A passenger in the vehicle, Devin Matthew Lutz, 21, of Harmony complained of an arm injury and also was taken for treatment at Allegheny General Hospital by Harmony EMS.3 a.m. Feb. 26 — Police were called by the township road department to Ridge Road about a vehicle on the road that appeared to have crashed. Police later tracked down the driver of the vehicle, Tracy Theiss, 46, of Evans City, who told police she apparently lost control, hit a mailbox and went into a ditch.8:30 p.m. Feb. 26 — Brandy Young of Jackson Township reported the theft of an antique banjo from her deceased father's residence on Russell Road. The banjo was valued between $900 and $3,000. Four renters are renting rooms at the residence, but none was home at the time of the report. Police are still investigating.1:39 p.m. Feb. 22 — A vehicle driven by John Frederick Santilo, 42, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, was slowing down for a curve on Lindsay Road when it was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Christine C. Hageter, 59, of 600 N. Main St., Apt. 7, Butler. Hageter was cited by police for failing to drive at safe speeds.
