Hoehn 60th Anniversary
Allen and Beatrice Hoehn of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage Thursday.
The former Beatrice Smithers married Hoehn on March 9, 1946, at the parsonage of Grace Lutheran Church in Butler.
They have three children, Robert Hoehn Sr. and Allen Hoehn Jr., both of Butler, and Barbara Ganz of New Jersey.
They also have five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
Hoehn is retired from Armco Steel, where he worked as a foreman in the meltshop. Aveteran of the Navy, he served in the South Pacific on the U.S.S. I.R.A. Jeffrey during World War II. He is a member of the Blazin Blades Scrollers of Western Pennsylvania.Mrs. Hoehn is a homemaker.The couple belongs to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler.
